Data processing

We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary for the establishment and content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). We collect personal data about the use of our internet pages (usage data) only to a very limited extent for users registered with InterCommunica (users with a profile with InterCommunica), such as the time of registration, the last login as well as the number of profile visits and enquiries, in order to be able to make these visible to the respective user in the personal profile.

Data processing on this website

The servers of the hosting provider we use are located in Frankfurt.

We process information in log files that your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes browser type/browser version, operating system used, referrer URL and time of server request. This data cannot be assigned to the users of our website. This data is not merged with other data sources.

In order for users to receive a language expert profile, inventory data (such as name, address, contact details, qualifications, references) is requested when creating a profile. After completion by the user and activation by InterCommunica, this data becomes publicly visible and can be viewed and edited by the user himself at any time by logging into his profile. Deletion of this data can also be requested at any time in the profile or via info@inter-communica.de and will be carried out by us within a few days.

In order for clients to request a quote from the language experts registered on the platform, they must enter a name, email address and message to the language expert in the form; a file attachment is optional. In order to effectively combat spam and block unwanted clients, this information is stored - but without an attachment, and with the request text shortened to the first 100 characters. A deletion of this data can also be requested at any time in the profile or via info@inter-communica.de and will be carried out by us within a few days.

Transmission of data for orders and bookings on this site

We only transmit personal data to third parties if this is necessary within the framework of the contract processing, for example to the credit institution commissioned with the payment processing, or if you, as the client, send a language expert an order enquiry so that the language expert can contact you with an offer. No further transmission of your data will take place, for example for advertising purposes. If you have any questions about this, you can contact us during business hours or send an e-mail to info@inter-communica.de send.

Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time free of charge via the link provided in the newsletter.

Objection to advertising mails

The use of published contact data to send advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested is hereby prohibited. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

If you click on a link of the sites/platforms listed below, you are moving outside the pages of InterCommunica. InterCommunica GmbH is not responsible for the content, services or products offered on the linked website, nor for the data protection and technical security on the linked website.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed. The associated cookie has a duration of 60 days. The revocation document of a previously granted consent is stored for a period of three years. This retention is based on the one hand on our accountability pursuant to Article 5 (2) of the GDPR. This obliges us to comply with the processing of personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. On the other hand, retention is based on the regular limitation period of three years pursuant to Section 195 of the German Civil Code (BGB). This limitation period begins at the end of the year in which the claim arose (§ 199 BGB).

You can permanently prevent the execution of JavaScript at any time by making the appropriate settings in your browser, which would also prevent Termly from executing the JavaScript.
